We will be hosting a big catered fundraiser on February 6th 2015. All proceeds will go to Angel's Food start up costs. If you'd like to purchase tickets to the event (more details can be found below) or to donate to our cause click the corresponding buttons below! 


Update # 4 October 16/15:

The event has been pushed back to February 6th. Other than the date there are very few changes being made. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are still asking for donations and ticket sales will be up and running again very soon. Can't wait to see you there!



Update # 3 October 03/15:

Not a whole lot to report other than we've acquired more sponsors, more prizes and we are getting some very unique offers from a few different businesses! Thank you so much for all of your support, and please make sure to look through our donors list and if you see something you need I would implore you to give them your patronage. Most of these businesses are local and small. Giving them your money instead of big international ones is going to benefit you in the long run. It helps our community get stronger and it also boosts our local economy. You are supporting people that have a heart to provide USEFUL services/products, jobs, charity and all sorts of community minded outreaches.


Please take a look at our little video. The reason Kyoko and I are together in the first place is largely due to her voice. I always prayed for a wife that could sing with me, and here we are fulfilling my boyhood dream! I never even thought I'd ask her to date me until I heard her sing 5 years ago :D

We are just having fun at home, but one day we hope to practice, hone our skills and really be able to do something cool one day. We hope you enjoy it!



Update # 2 September 21/15:

In the last few weeks we have secured some amazing sponsors (please do check out our donor page) including Loblaw's City Market, Guayaki Yerba Mate, WeLoveVan, Tony Waters Agency, Land and Water Fitness and many more! Ticket sales have opened and we've added a link at the top of this page for you to easily purchase them. Tommy's Catering will be providing us with some delicious food and we have added an extra raffle! At the beginning of the evening, every ticket holder will be entered into a draw for a special VIP experience. VIP's will have access to free drinks, a comfortable seating area and more! (Don't want to give away all the surprises :D)

 

In the coming weeks Michael will be pounding the pavement looking for more businesses who may want to be involved. Update # 1 August 28/15:

We are proud to announce that this coming November 7th, @ The New Beaumont Studios we will be hosting "Michael's Mission for Healthy Living!" Doors will open from 4:00 pm and the evening will go until 9:00 pm (but we have been authorized to stay until 10 if everyone is having a good time).

Still lots of planning to do, but so far we have some musicians booked, the possibility of a couple of child entertainers, I'm unsure exactly what drinks will be available (it will be a dry event) but I am in talks with some great healthy drink companies. I am sure of one thing...there will be coffee! There will be food too, food is paramount!

Suitable prize ideas include but are not limited to; a really nice photo you may have taken blown up and framed, paintings, services (you'd get  your business promoted this way), non perishable treats (trying to keep in the healthy category, but there is a little wiggle room), tickets to something...the list is endless! Just to clarify, the goodies are for donations made at the event. If you make a donation and are unable to attend the event, unfortunately they are donated and in short supply so only those in attendance are eligible. We wish we could give more!


July 20/15:

This fall we will be hosting a large family event! The only thing I am sure of is that the music will have a Christian theme. As soon as we know more details...you will too! :D There will be live music and a plethora of other fun stuff! The purpose for this event is fundraising! There will be lots of opportunities for donors to get plenty of advertisement. ALL proceeds...100%...will go toward startup costs for Angel's Food such as our first few food orders, equipment, a space to make the food, employee wages and anything else that WILL present itself. If you'd like to see Angel's Food a reality or if you'd just like to help out a little family in their time of need please donate.
